Yelford-unnamed roads
Prohibition of Through Traffic and Waiting
Date of Order: 19 August 2019
Coming into force: 5 September 2019
This Order is being introduced because of carriageway improvements which are anticipated to be completed on 11 September 2019
The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding or waiting in the whole length of the unnamed road running through Yelford and the road northwards from Cote.
Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.
Exemptions are included for police, fire and ambulance services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the closure is via North Street-B4449 Cote Road and vice versa or alternatively Standlake Road-B4449 Cote Road-North Street and vice versa
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
