Community Site Visit - 5th December 2020
Matthew Homes site visit, hosted by the Site Manager, Max Drinkwater. Here are the key points discussed were:


1.  Site completion remains on schedule (Sep 21).
2.  Wooden fence at entrance is temporary, the hawthorn hedge will be replaced/extended.
3.  Sales office now open (by appointment currently). Run by Scott Fraser of Witney, manned by Rory and/or Joan 7 days/week, 10am - 5pm. Much interest already, bungalows all sold (one occupied) prices of other houses range from £515k to £699k.
4. Affordable housing- first batch handed over to Sovereign Homes (and occupied). Second (of 3) batch to be handed over week commencing 7th December.
5.  Streetlights to be connected week commencing 7th December 2020.
6.  Site will close over period 25 Dec to 4Jan. Site Manager on leave from 18 Dec 2020 to 10 Jan 2021. Deputy will be in charge ( Tim Stevens) during his absence.
7.  Request to run generator in compound overnight and to facilitate this acoustic matting is being fitted. It will be trialled with advance notice for one night and will only continue subject to noise acceptability.
8.  Slurry across footpath was to have been cleared by 4th December with forecast frost to harden ground for plant access - but no frost, only more rain! WILL be cleared by the 11th December, whatever.
9.  Public Open Space (Bull St end) - will start landscaping/planting Sep 2021. Meeting with Parish Council at Easter to discuss/coordinate the project (trees, landscaping, benches etc TBC).
10.  Next meeting- Sat 30 Jan 2021 at 10am.
