Voices is the newsletter of Aston, Cote, Shifford and Chimney. It seeks to inform, entertain and provoke interest in local matters.

It is published every two months and is delivered free to all homes in the Parish. It was first published in 1991 and we are now able to incorporate colour features.

We are always on the lookout for suitable material. If you have a story or item of interest, why not contact the editors? This may be done by email to astonnewsletter@hotmail.com , delivered to 11 Southlands or Penny Black House in The Square. We publish in January, March, May, July, September and November. Last date for material is usually the last day of the month preceding publication, details are included below.

We are funded in part by advertising. If you want to advertise this is done on a yearly basis. See below for further information about advertising.

Extra copies of Voices are available from Aston Community Shop at a cost of 50p, or it can be posted at a small additional charge on request.

Technical Stuff

We publish almost all articles submitted to us. However your e-mailed text does not need to be complicated. Our standard house style is 10 point Times New Roman, but we can take care of formatting whatever you send in, but keep it simple! Please keep articles to about 300 words, it would be very helpful if when sending us photographs you do so as an email attachment and not embedded in a word document. The quality tends to drop if the photograph is embedded.

Thanks to our printers for their help and support:
The Flying Press, Unit 15, Glenmore Business Centre, Range Road, Witney, Oxon. OX29 0AA
