Aston & Cote Community Trust was established by a trust deed in May 1967.  It was created to receive ownership of the land on which the village hall, recreation field and playgrounds on Cote Road, Aston, are now sited.  The Community Trust is a registered charity (number 304258) and is managed by a committee which is substantially made up of those organisations who regularly use the village hall.

The Community Trust is responsible for the ownership and management of the village hall, the recreation field and the playgrounds.

If you have any concerns or questions about the hall, field and playgrounds, you can contact the Community Trust via the information on its Charity Commission
page  (search for charity number 304258) or via this website - your query will be forwarded to The Community Trust

News and Fundraising

Support Aston & Cote Village Hall by entering 500 Club Online. As we all stay home to protect our community, the 500 Club team won’t be out and about collecting entries for this year’s competition (at least for the time being). We’ve therefore had to get creative and move Aston & Cote’s favourite fundraiser online. Your continued support is essential at this difficult time as with the village hall and recreation grounds closed, and likely to be so for several months, Aston & Cote Community Trust is receiving no income; meanwhile regular outgoings for bills and upkeep of the hall must continue.

About 500 Club Online: Aston & Cote’s 500 Club draws are held monthly, with 8 tickets winning prizes of up to £40 (3 prizes of £5, 2 of £10, 1 of £20, 1 of £30 and 1 of £40). Bonus draws with larger prizes are held twice a year. Over the years, the 500 Club has raised over £1500 per annum in vital funds for the upkeep of the village hall. To enter, it costs only £12 per year.

To enter: Send an email to 500ClubAston@gmail.com with the word ‘Enter’ in the subject line. In the body of the text, please include your full name, house number/name and street name, as well as your contact phone number. We will reply to your email with your individual reference number and also provide the bank details for the Community Trust. Please make an online payment of £12 to into the Community Trust account, importantly including your individual reference number.

Winners: Winning numbers and surnames will be published as usual in Voices magazine, and you will be contacted to enable us to pay your prize money by bank transfer. In line with GDPR, your personal information will only be used for the purpose of contacting you about your entry into the 500 Club Online competition.
We hope to return to the traditional form of the competition in the future but thank you for your continued support for the village hall in these uncertain times. For more information, please contact us on 500ClubAston@gmail.com or the Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/AstonCote/
