Lower Evenlode & Windrush Neighbourhood Plan Proposal - Public Drop-in Event - 4 November 2014

31/10/2014

Charles Mathew, the County Councillor for our parish and the area around the Lower Evenlode & Windrush has organised an event to assess public interest in the development of a Neighbourhood Plan for the Lower Evenlode * Windrush areas, and writes:

"In view of the latest draft Local Development Framework drawn up by WODC and the SHMA requisitioned by Local Councils to ascertain the numbers Oxfordshire needs for housing, I am desirous of formulating a local plan to cover the Lower Windrush and Evenlode Valleys, which will act to the Planning and Regulation Authorities in WODC and OCC as guidelines for the future of these areas.

The intent of this drop in would be to assess the desire and willingness of residents to partake of this exercise and to explain in further detail the importance of a coordinated plan to cover such diffuse items as housing, roads, gravel, waste, buses, water, sewerage, floods and the such.

In order to do this in a reasonable time, we will welcome participation by residents and subparties to cover different topics. This drop in will enable people to register their interest.

It has not been possible to find a common date for a communal meeting, hence the open drop in.

PLEASE COME- WE need your views on the FUTURE of the area, in which you live.

I am happy to discuss and receive your advice

The Drop-In takes place on: Tuesday 4 November from 4.30pm to 8.00pm at Stanton Harcourt Village Hall, OX29 5SB.
